Punchout , OCI... B2B Marketing

Punchout is a distributed shopping model between buyer and suppliers.
A buyer user can login to a his system and transparently  navigates to supplier systems and make his shopping and when he returns his items are on Buyer cart.

Example :
You login to your school system. Your school has a contract for computer company X.
You click link go to website of X company.
You X company website full featured .
And when u are done click checkout(or whatever) to return to your system.

Usually these processes go with cXML  cXML (commerce eXtensible Markup Language)
which provides  XML schemas for standard business transactions.

OCI is another implementation of Remote Shopping.

These standarts are great ,because they enable 2 companies to share catalogs with very simple
integrations.
